A FAMILY, IN THE TRENCHES

To kick this off we want your purchases to mean something to a family close to our hearts, The Dennis Family.

Kristen has been one of our biggest supporters — always showing up, shopping, encouraging, never asking for a thing in return.

Now she’s is in the trenches — supporting her husband who was recently diagnosed with aggressive cancer - out of the blue.

She’s working her darndest to fund life-extending treatment, supporting their two daughters, keep food on the table, pay the bills, and still find space to make memories.

She hasn’t asked for help.

She’s just digging in, doing what needs to be done — with grit, perseverence and good humour...

And that? That’s resilience.

So from now until the end of May 2025, $10 from every Republic Road scent purchase* will be gifted directly to Kristen and her family to help lighten the load.

We want Kristen and Elton to be our first Resilience Recognised recipients — hopefully not the last.

We would love to do this again. And again. And again.

To honour real people, facing real challenges, with the kind of resilience that deserves to be seen.

In the coming months, we would love to open up nominations for future support.

Where did this idea come from?

We have wanted to do more for some time.... Kirsten's current situation made us throw caution to the wind and say 'lets do this'

Are you charging more ?

Nope - your purchases are not costing you more, we are just diverting some of the purchase price to someone who could use a little hand up.

How will you gift the $

Direct - we will gift the raised funds from product orders directly to the recipients - in this first instance Kristen & her family

We will also update any customers who have placed an order during this first Resilence Recognised Campaign.

Is there another way to help?

Right now we are just stepping out boldly, doing what we can to help practically -

Our first recipient has got her head down, and working hard in her job - no givealittle or donation pages just blimin grit - we admire this!

There is no doubt we are a business, and typically we sell products to make money

BUT we needed to find a practical way to help a friend - what did we have at our fingertips to do that? Great products, Epic Customers (like you!) and the opportunity to take a little less & give a little more.

We figure it gives a little more purpose to a purchase!
